The ideal candidate would have 1-3 years in Turf Management with increasing responsibilities. A 2 or 4 year degree in Turf Management is preferred. Hard working, punctual, and a great attitude is a must. Candidates must have the ability to obtain an Oregon Pesticide Applicator license within 90 days of hire.

The assistant superintendent works closely with the Superintendent to maintain the course at a high standard and provide an exceptional experience for golfers. Responsibilities include supervising the maintenance crew, developing and implementing maintenance plans, monitoring turf conditions and assisting in budget management. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of turf management practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail are essential for success in this role.

Previous experience in golf course maintenance
Knowledge of pesticide and fertilizer application
