EIFG ~ Rounds 4 Research Wrap up

Imagine the functionality of today’s golf courses or the ability to manage them in an economically viable manner if there were no resources to fuel innovation, address challenges brought on by Mother Nature or respond to regulatory pressures. The absence of ongoing university-based research, education, advocacy programs and course operation resources threatens the ability of these small businesses to succeed and of golfers to maximize their experience. In short, the lack of this support directly impacts our quality of life. The Environmental Institute for Golf (EIFG) has a Rounds 4 Research program that gives local GCSAA chapters the ability to raise funds for theses programs.

The golf rounds donated to Oregon Chapter GCSA for this years Environmental Institute for Golf Rounds 4 Research Auction raised $3,532.00 for our association.

This money raised will go directly into the pledge fund of $25,000 that the OGCSA donates to the Oregon Turfgrass Foundation which in turn funds the endowment to the Oregon State University Turfgrass Program.
