University of Wisconsin Resource Use Survey from 2:00 to 2:50 pm

Speakers: Michael Bekken and Doug Soldat, University of Wisconsin

Short Description: The University of Wisconsin-Madison Golf Course Resource Efficiency Study attempts to quantify resource (water, energy, fertilizer, and pesticide) use on golf courses primarily in the US and Europe.  During this seminar scientist from the University of Wisconsin-Madison will quickly frame the objectives of the study, then show high desert participants how to use the survey.  Points of focus in the study include pesticide use (actual records, which can be uploaded electronically or mailed to us via hard copy).  Survey participants will earn from $50 to $100 Amazon gift cards, depending on how much of the survey they complete.   We encourage participants to join the webinar from a place where they have access to the following records: water use, topdressing sand use, fuel consumption, fertilizer use and pesticide use over a 3-year period from 2016-2018, which will be part of the survey.

This is a FREE event for all OGCSA members
