“The Mission of Illahe Hills Country Club is to enrich the lives of its members by providing an excellent member experience in a family-friendly environment.” Illahe is built upon 200 acres with bluegrass putting surfaces and bentgrass/bluegrass/ryegrass fairways and tees. Currently, Illahe is looking for an Assistant Superintendent to aid in making our facility a premier golfing destination in the Salem area.
The Assistant Superintendent will assist in all aspects of golf course maintenance. This position requires an individual that must have a great work ethic and a passion to produce a phenomenal product for our members and guests.

Requirements
2-4 year degree or certificate
• 5+ years in industry or related field with leadership experience
• Must have a current Oregon commercial pesticide applicators license or the ability to obtain one immediately.
• Fertilizer and pesticide applications along with calibration.
• Irrigation systems and repair.
• Management of crew.
• Construction, drainage and renovation skills.
• Disease identification.
• Tournament preparation
• Leadership skills.
• Cultural practices.
• Equipment operation.

Start date: Open immediately/ open until filled
Salary: $40-60k per year
