Claremont Community Association seeks a fulltime mechanic to join our 9-hole golf course grounds crew. The person will have the following responsibilities.

– Maintain and service all aspects of our golf course equipment.
– Sharpen and maintain all mower blades
– Set heights on mower equipment to proper levels for time of year.
– Work with equipment providers to order and maintain equipment parts.
– Work closely with other ground crew members to solve course problems.
-Work closely with other ground crew members to ensure the facilities are kept clean and maintained to the highest standard.
– Perform non-mechanical course maintenance work like mowing when mechanical issues are under control.

The successful applicant will have good communications skills and will have demonstrated a commitment to working well with associates and getting his or her job done in a timely manner.

The person will report to our Superintendent of golf course maintenance.

The person should have at least two years of mechanical experience and provide references.

Claremont Community Association is an over 55 community and has maintained a beautiful 9-hole golf course for over 25 years. It is in the Bethany neighborhood off the Cornell exit on Highway 26.
