Quail Run Crew Tournament Recap

Running Y Resort’s Aaron Rowe, Mason Cohen, Josh Butler and Tony Stevenson did it again claiming the title of the Central Oregon Crew Tournament Champion at Quail Run Golf Course earlier this week. A 15 under par gross score of 57 is what it took to claim the victory in this year’s team scramble. Running Y Resort will join Emerald Valley Golf Resort and Heron Lakes Golf Course to face off against Western Washington GCSAs (Tacoma Country & Golf Club and The Home Course) and Inland Empire GCSAs (Coeur d’ Alene Public Course and Palouse Ridge) on October 16 at Arrowhead Golf Club for the PNW Crew Tournament Championship. This year’s Central Oregon Crew Tournament was another absolutely perfect day with a crisp start to the morning that transitioned into a comfortable mid 70s day with clear blue skies. This was another sold out event with a full field of 28 teams competing. As always host Superintendent, Jeremy Niederklein and his crew had the course in top condition. Thank you, Jeremy and all the staff, at Quail Run Golf Course for hosting us again and your amazing hospitality!
